DUE TO ONGOING UNCERTAINTY OUR SUMMER 2021 PROGRAMME WILL NOW RUN IN DEVON AND CORNWALL.
We have been anxiously awaiting news of how and when Scotland will open up enough for us to run our programme. Even with Covid levels very low and the vaccination programme well underway, the lowest level of restrictions, Level 0, which have no end date and which come into force on an unspecified date in ‘late June’, would still only allow us to take one guest per week. This is clearly unsustainable for much of the summer, and we are therefore taking the decision to move the entire summer programme south of the border. Merlin will be based in south west England, and will explore the stunning coastline, islands and estuaries of Devon and Cornwall.
While this is quite a large geographical change, it offers us the best chance of taking you all onboard this season, as well as minimising further disruption after the loss of 2020 and what has been an exhausting year.
The south west offers beautiful sailing, and we are really excited to be able to explore this new cruising ground together.
The trips will now run from PLYMOUTH and FALMOUTH. The dates of the trip will remain the same, as will the themes and ideas of each trip.
We will send joining instructions as we normally would, with information about where exactly the yacht is berthed. We do hope this will not affect you too much.
